Vendor Examples

If you're like me you need to visualize exactly what something means for it to make sense. I hope that these vendor examples do just that - help you to see what we mean when we say 3 SKUs or 50 items.

$50/Month Store Fee: Includes up to 3 SKUs/Barcodes and up to 50 items in store (plus additional promotional items)

For a jewelry maker this could look like three colors of earrings, 20 blue, 20 black, and 10 pink. It could also look like 20 earrings, 20 necklaces, and 10 rings.

With this Store Fee plus the 20% commission rate, as a vendor you would want to sell about $65 a month to cover your Store Fee. If you sold earrings at $20 a pair this would be 4 sets. If you sold greeting cards at $4 each this would be 16 greeting cards.

$100/Month Store Fee: Includes up to 10 SKUs/Barcodes and up to 100 items in store (plus additional promotional items)

For a bath and body creative this could look like 10 different soap scents, 10 of each scent. It could also look like 10 soap bars, 10 lotion bars, 10 shampoo bars, 10 conditioner bars, 10 gift sets, 10 chapsticks, 10 bath bombs, 10 bath fizzies, 10 shower steamers, and 10 hand sanitizers.

With this Store Fee plus the 20% commission rate, as a vendor you would want to sell about $125 a month to cover your Store Fee.

You are welcome to break up your available SKUs any way you like as long as you know what they mean and Craft Theory is able to conduct a proper inventory on a quarterly basis. We are aware that this is a new style of doing things for the creative market world, but we hope that it will make things easier on you as a vendor, our employees at Craft Theory, and most importantly for our customers.

Because Craft Theory is handling the displays and collections of items, our goal is to be very communicative and transparent with our vendors so your best selling items will be able to be restocked as soon as possible.
