Join Felicia from Lady Shutterbug as she walks you through crochet basics including, but not limited to, starting your foundation chain stitch, counting chains and stiches, the five primary stitches, hook sizes, classes of yarn weight and appropriate hook sizes, and more! Felicia will help answer any questions that the students may have, and does have experience teaching left-handed students. Upon completion of the class, you will have the skills and knowledge to start your very own project.
We encourage each student to bring their own medium weight yarn (4) and either a size H (5.0) or I (5.5mm) crochet hook. We will have some yarn and hooks available if anyone forgets or is unable to purchase these supplies.
This class runs about 2 hours and is best for teens or adults. You do not need any crochet knowledge, but this class does require a fair amount of hand and finger dexterity.
